The content of this website is for your general information and use only. We reserve the right at our sole discretion to modify or change any part of this agreement/Terms and Conditions. It is the responsibility of the customer to check these terms before using or accessing the website and/or services of DealBug. By accessing and using this website, it signifies that you have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.
"DealBug Jamaica" is an online retailer that provides a comprehensive Landed Price for items ordered online, inclusive of product price, shipping costs and customs duty to customers. DealBug is the portal through which customers can reserve their items. The company will be responsible for managing orders, placing orders and shipping the orders to Jamaica. DealBug is an intermediary between the customers and external parties who facilitate the service offerings of DealBug. These offerings include but are not limited to; taking orders, placing orders for items, managing the shipping and processing process to get packages to the customers, receiving and sourcing requested items from customers, and facilitating and collecting payment for these items. DealBug's website is available only to people over 13 years old. DealBug Jamaica is a MailPac subsidiary and innovation. Thus all transactions are understood to be in relation to and in some cases made out to MailPac Services.
Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
The nature of DealBug is to provide the customer with the requested item. DealBug is not responsible for any returns or replacement of orders once they have been confirmed. DealBug is not responsible for any manufacturing defects or specifications of the items ordered. DealBug does not accept responsibility for warrants, replacements or any refunds of any nature once the order has been confirmed. If a customer chooses to return an item or get it replaced it is their responsibility to cover the costs of shipping it back to the manufacturer.
If there is a manufacturer's defect, the customer will be responsible for the costs of getting it to Florida and the manufacturer should cover the remaining costs. However, in the event that the manufacturer does not cover those costs, it is the responsibility of the customer to cover those costs.
As the nature of DealBug is to purchase items from external suppliers, the prices are subject to change without due notice. If a price change directly affects the purchase of an item, an agent from DealBug will contact the customer to inform them of such.
Payment can be made via various methods:
- Credit card
- Debit card
- Manager’s Cheque
- Bank Draft
Orders will not be placed until payment is processed. The processing of payment can take several business days. Cheques will take longer to be processed and thus those orders will have a longer wait period before the order is placed.
DealBug guarantees a 10 business day turnaround time from when the order is placed to being ready at counter or out for delivery. If an order does not arrive within that time period then the customer is entitled to a full refund of the paid landed price and the order is cancelled unless customer was notified ahead of time and has agreed to additional turnaround time.
DealBug offers complementary delivery on items with landed prices over JMD$10,000. For orders under J$10,000, if the customer chooses to have them delivered, DealBug will charge a fee of J$500 to be paid either at the point of ordering, or upon delivery. If a customer orders several items which will be delivered at different times but they are under the same order number, there are varying outcomes:
- If the entire order is over J$10,000 then the customer will not be charged for each delivery
- If the order is under J$10,000 the customer will be charged J$500 for each individual delivery that is made
- If the order is under J$10,000, the customer can elect to have the order held at our location until all items have arrived. In such cases, the customer will be liable for one delivery charge of J$500.
DealBug's hours of operation are from 9am to 5pm EST, Monday through Friday and 10am to 2pm EST on Saturdays. If orders are placed outside of these hours the customer will be contacted in the next business day of operation.
Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.
